What to expect from Inis Escargot

Inis Escargot offers a number of courses to teach farmers how to develop and grow a snail farm in Ireland.  Courses include on-farm training as well as virtual training courses.

At Inis Escargot we pride ourselves in having one of the largest successful Snail Farms in Ireland.  We teach farmers how to develop and run a successful snail farm in Ireland.

From establishing the farm in 2015 the team in Inis Escargot have tried and tested many different methods and have perfected a snail farming method that WORKS in Ireland.

From extensive research & development and learning on the farm, Inis Escargot has taken almost 50% labour from many of the processes and procedures, this is the key to a sustainable Snail farm.

The courses given by Inis Escargot owner, Peter, are designed to help people move from their existing job and gradually transition into Snail Farming whether it be on a full-time or part-time basis. We have found that starting up gradually works best to maintain low risk, both financially, physically and emotionally.
