A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use as few as we can get away with.
What we set

Analytics only run if you say yes
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics stores nothing on your device: no _ga cookie, no identifier, nothing it can use to recognise you again. If you decline, it stays off. Nothing about the shop stops working either way.
To be straight with you about the one thing that does happen before you choose: the analytics script itself loads, and Google records an anonymous, cookieless page count. It cannot identify you or follow you between visits. That is the standard setup Google calls Consent Mode v2, and it is why our visitor numbers don’t collapse the moment someone declines.
